HIMSS brings first-of-its-kind health IT online broadcasting network to UK e-Health Week 2018

HIMSS is launching an innovative online broadcasting network at the UK e-Health Week conference, taking place at Olympia in London on 15-16 May.

LONDON, UK- (HealthTech Wire / News) - The Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) has announced that it is launching HIMSS TV in the UK, the first online global broadcasting network showcasing innovation and the impact of information and technology in the health and care ecosystem, at the 2018 e-Health Week conference in London on 15 – 16 May.

The first-of-its-kind programme will bring to the UK exclusive interviews and provide insights into some of the hottest topics in the industry right now, such as Cybersecurity, Data or Artificial Intelligence, and highlights from conference keynotes, which this year includes Matthew Swindells, NHS England Director of Operations and Information, and Taavi Kotka, former Chief Information Officer of the Estonian Government.

HIMSS TV will be hosted at this year’s UK e-Health Week by Dr Charles Alessi, Senior Advisor to Public Health England, who recently joined HIMSS as the first Chief Clinical Officer for International.

Expanding the global HIMSS Media portfolio, encompassing the British Journal of Healthcare Computing, Healthcare IT News, MobiHealth News, and Insights, among other brands, HIMSS TV creates the opportunity for around-the-clock-content to reach a wider audience looking for a comprehensive digital health video resource that displays examples of best practice and learning.
