Webinar: Driving patient-centric care through data

The Webinar “Driving patient-centric care through data” will present eHealth strategies that enable healthcare providers to center care around the patient by turning patient data into valuable knowledge. The focus will be on interoperability solutions, data access and analytics.

In the first part of the webinar, attendees will be guided around basic data analytics concepts by Jörg Studzinski, HIMSS Europe Director of Research & Advisory Services. The German health IT consultant will explain: why it is crucial for healthcare organizations to develop analytics competencies; typical challenges faced; and how to leverage the HIMSS Analytics Adoption Model for Analytics Maturity (AMAM) to strengthen a healthcare organization’s analytics strategy.

In the second part, Dr Charles Alessi, Chief Clinical Officer at HIMSS, will broaden the horizon through his international perspective by highlighting the importance of adopting cloud technology and data driven decisions to encourage adoption of more personalised health and care.   

In closing, Dr Lennart Jahnke from the University Medicine Mannheim (UMM) will present a case study about the Mannheim Liver Network. In his presentation, the Chief Digital Officer (CDO) will provide an overview of the challenges a CDO may face within a complex healthcare environment and he will elaborate on the strategic role of eHealth solutions to improve healthcare for liver patients.
